Such a rewarding experience training the group of room leaders at LEYF – such an energetic, enthusiastic & engaging bunch! We explored the Power of Communication; the various barriers we face to effective communication – our presence (tone & body language), perspectives and our prejudices and how these can get in the way! Oh and the art of listening; really listening to hear and not to respond was powerful. Identifying our verbalize style was also an eye opener for many – sunny or straight-to-the-point; selfless or systematic – how can we adapt to one another so that we can all seek to be on the same page? One of the participants thanked us for opening her eyes to her real self 🙂
